The installation was created as a response to land development in Stuart, Florida. The work consists of cast objects taken from these locations and a series of postcards addressed to these anthropomorphized real estate parcels. The postcards tell a narrative of a relationship with these places as it reflects on recollections of memories lost as the landscape is redeveloped. The context of the tent serves as a metaphor for the sense of turbulence and uprooting that occurs in searching for home.
