This installation depicts the transformation of a material as a metaphor for the transformation of urban landscapes. While it may be the same essence, it is unrecognizable as it was previously. A log manipulated to appear to flatten out goes under an iron to be transformed into a book. This book has images of homes, grocery stores, and gas stations from 16 different cities labeled by their geographic coordinates. The imagery becomes repetitive and it is difficult to distinguish the locations, or whether they are even different places in the first place.
